Yummy carne asada fries. Fully loaded with meat, cheese and guacamole. You can also ask for hot sauces.
I am changing my review to four stars. At first I gave it five. Went here and had a great experience. The man that took my order was very friendly. I asked for salsa verde and he packed it in my bag. The next day I went back. A different younger man was at the counter. He acted like he was mad that I ordered at all. When I asked for the salsa he just said “NO!”. He was rude and gruff. I guess I have to say it’s hit or miss. I hate spending $35 for a meal and feeling like I am unwelcome and a burden to the business. Kudos to the friendly gentleman.

The Restaurant was called El Rinconcito, under new owner. We stopped here after a visit to Sesame Street Place, hoping to have some authentic Mexican food. We were not disappointed! Oh my, this place tastes like your authentic San Diego style Mexican food! Amazing meat, topped with some delicious flavorful salsas. I will definitely be back during our next vacation in town!
Absolutely amazing! me and my partner went in for some tacos everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The staff are very kind and helpful as well! If you're in the area definitely give them a try.
Cutest little spot run by the sweetest man! Makes delicious fresh menudo daily, the best we have had in a long time. The sopes are amazing snd the pollo asado is so flavorful. Great portion sizes. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!

The best surf and turf burrito in SD. The shrimp in the burrito is absolutely delicious. The mango hot sauce is great as well. As with all mango hot sauces it's very spicy. The horchata is average, it good but nothing special. The salsa they serve with the chips is terrible. I've been many times and it's always trash. I don't understand how they don't know it taste awful considering how good the actual food is. I will be back because the food is legit!
